Local Government School
LGS is an independent project. We tend to inspire local activists and concerned citizens to become local politicians and representatives.

We welcome people with different views. The main idea is not a party affiliation, not something that divides us, but a desire to enhance our village, city, region and country.

We believe that each person can become a politician.

We create new post soviet politics, with implies more tolerance and less nomenklatura.
LGS pool of experts includes specialists on municipal law, political technologies, legal support of political campaign, current and former deputies and heads of municipalities.
The project started in 2012 under the name "New power school" in the framework of the Committee of Civil Initiatives of Alexey Kudrin.
In 2014, the project became independent, and received a new name - "Local goverment school".
Since 2012, more than thousand people across the country have become participants of our seminars.
One of the results of our work in the regions is the establishment of a dialogue between various political forces, the removal of social tensions and the formation of inter-party and independent candidates groups.
